Wellness in the Workplace with Tracei Jackson

With a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, I have spent several years working in corporate leadership positions. I understand the unique challenges that women are faced with daily in trying to balance work life with our personal lives. Women are the nucleus of the home and are often juggling many tasks, yet Corporate America is slow to come around to the importance of balance. My goal is to help Black women find that balance so you can live the life you deserve to live in the most sustainable way.

Niketa C. Pechan, LCSW

Maternal Mental Health Expert
Licensed Therapist
Location: United States

Hi, I’m Niketa Pechan, a Jamaican American Maternal Wellness Guide and Expert with a Masters in Social Work. I’m also a wife and mom to two birth children and two bonus children.

Known as The Doula Therapist, my philosophy is to provide guidance and a safe space for moms from the perinatal to the postpartum stage. A hallmark of my practice is the belief that healing comes when we involve the body’s nervous system. I go beyond talk therapy with moms to help them bring awareness to their body, sensations, and breathing, including using perinatal yoga. My goal is to provide a safe space for women to reclaim the power of their birthing bodies and gain confidence in their motherhood. I’m excited to work with you on your healing journey.

Wellthy Style with Rlynda

Hi, I’m Arlinda, a fashion designer who was born and raised in Portugal with Cape Verdean parents. My love for fashion was inspired by my mother, who became a seamstress despite young girls not being allowed to go to school and women only encouraged to learn a trade in Cape Verde. She not only taught me the foundation of style through clothes but through clothes she also taught me what it means to be a Wellthy Woman. Wellthy is a state of mind. It’s when you’ve gotten to know yourself on a level that can’t be questioned. You know who you are and you own it in every since of the word.

For me, style is a way to express the healed version of myself. She’s more confident,  authentic and unapologetic. I’m excited to be part of MoodWellth to help other melanated women reclaim their power, increase their confidence and express their healing journey through style.
